How can I display my seashell collection without it collecting dust?

I have a lot of shells and I put them in cute little vases with ribbons around them and tags saying where I got them from but over time they've just become dust collectors and very unsightly. Like I said, I have a lot of them so taking them all out of the vases weekly to clean them is difficult to say the least. I also make jewelry with them on occasion so I don't really want to put them in a lamp or picture frame or anywhere else I won't be able to get to them if I want to use them in a piece of jewelry. Any ideas anyone?
