Rabbit's toe missing! Rabbit pro's PLZ help!?

WOW I have raised rabbits for years and have never had that happen. I have had chickens bite of a rabbits toe once in an out door hutch. So I put wire around the bottom of the hutch. It sounds like your problem is more complicated then that to me. You may think of investing in a cat to keep the rats away once you get rid of most of them for the future. Make sure you keep the food closed up and only feed the rabbits what they will eat and don't leave extra food in the cage to discorage the rats. I wish I had more ideas for you. Thats horrible to go through. Good Luck!
