How do i go about getting a spent conviction off my criminal record it happened when i was 14 and im now 26?

i got a 12 months conditional discharge when i was only 14 im now 26 and im wanting to go into nursing but obviously they require a crb check and it will show up, i know it will be cled as (spent) because its been over 10 years but it'll still show up and its embarrasing, im wanting to have it removed completely, is there anyway of getting this done?
