MLB All-Star voting is a joke!?

I would like to see it a combination of the popular vote and a panel to make the all star rosters. The problem is so many guys are overrated and people love them. If everyone voted for the best players at each position for that season then it would really be something. The all star game has become less about the best players from that season and more about which teams have more fans. I don't even watch them any more.
