For the black folks....?

i know that there are one hell of a lot of you out there that still have the "poor me because my ancestors were slaves so everyone owes me someting"attitude. not all of you, but you cannot deny there are lots of them. michelle obama is one of those, and so is ray nagin. what i want to know is, since my great great granddad and some other family members fought for the north, helping to procure your ancestors freedom, shouldn't i get some retro-active payment for helping to secure your freedom and fighting for your rights?
